What is Carrom?
The board-café classic with genuine physics: place your striker on the baseline, drag to aim, pull for power, and flick — coins collide, rebound off the frame and drop into the four corner pockets with proper friction and spin of momentum. No buttons pretending to be shots; the flick is the game.
This first version plays the popular simplified family ruleset (documented in-game): pocket your own colour, the red queen must be covered by pocketing one of your coins on the same or next shot, and pocketing the striker is a foul that returns one of your coins to the centre. Play against a casual computer opponent, pass one device between two players, or open a private online room where each flick is reproduced live on your friend's screen.

How to play Carrom
- Choose Same Device, 🤖 Computer (casual level), or 🌎 Online Friend.
- Slide the striker along your baseline, drag away from it to aim — the guide shows the direction.
- Release to flick: longer drag, harder shot. Pocket your own colour coins in the corner pockets.
- The red queen: pocket her only after your first coin, then cover her by pocketing one of yours on the same or next shot — or she returns to the centre.
- Pocketing the striker is a foul: one of your coins returns to the centre and the turn passes. Clear your colour to win.
What the screen does for you
Carrom on AllPartyGames.com is the referee, not the whole game: it gives the host Aim guide and power meter, Fouls and queen rules handled, Turn and score tracking. Tap the ? button inside the game for these rules at any time, or 📺 for TV mode on a big screen.
How many players?
Carrom works with 1–2 players and a typical round takes about 10–30 min. Recommended age: 6+.

Tips
- Gentle shots win games — power is for breaks, touch is for pockets.
- Play the angles: the frame is your friend for coins hiding near pockets.
- Cover the queen early; carrying that debt into the endgame loses matches.
Carrom FAQ
Which carrom rules does this use?
A simplified family ruleset, clearly documented in-game: white and black coins (9 each) plus the red queen; you pocket your own colour; the queen may be pocketed once you have pocketed at least one of your coins and must be covered (pocket one of yours on the same or the following shot) or she returns to the centre; pocketing the striker is a foul — one of your pocketed coins comes back to the centre and the turn passes. First to clear their colour (with the queen covered if they took her) wins the board. Full AICF tournament rules (imperfections, thumbing, precise foul tables) are not simulated in this first version.
Is the physics real?
Yes — real-time collision physics with friction, rebounds and momentum, simulated identically for both players in online games. Every shot is a genuine flick, never a canned animation.
Is Carrom free?
Yes — 100% free with no account required.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, it is designed for phones first and works on tablets, laptops and TVs.
