The five-letter guessing game with no daily limit: type any real word, and the tiles tell you the truth — green for the right letter in the right place, yellow for a right letter in the wrong place, grey for a letter that is not in the word. How does the versus mode work?
Both players get the SAME secret word. Online, create a private room and share the code, link or QR — you see your friend's colour pattern appear row by row (never their letters), and the first to solve wins. Against the computer, it deduces honestly on its own board from its own clues at the speed you pick.
What counts as a valid guess?
Any real five-letter word in our 12,500-word dictionary — plurals, past tenses and rare-but-real words included. Secret answers, though, come only from a hand-picked list of fair, common words.
