What is Pick a Winner?
Pick a Winner is the giveaway tool: paste the entrants, set how many prizes there are, and press the button for a drum-roll shuffle, a confetti reveal and a result card you can screenshot or share. The transparency is the feature — run the draw in fullscreen on a live stream or in the room so entrants see the pick happen, and send the Share link so anyone can re-open the same entrant list.
Use it for raffles, contest draws, Instagram giveaways (paste the usernames), lucky-draw coupons at a shop, door prizes at an event and the end-of-year class prize. For an everyday “whose turn” choice, the Random Name Picker is the plainer tool.
Running a clean giveaway
- Paste every entrant once; de-duplicate the list first so one person does not get two tickets by accident
- Set the number of winners to the number of prizes and draw them all in one go — no second draws
- Record the screen or go live while you draw; the reveal is the proof
- Share the entrant-list link with a co-host before the draw so the list cannot change afterwards
- For runners-up, draw two extra names and announce them as reserves
- Weighted entries (two tickets for a referral): paste that person’s name twice and say so publicly
- Classroom prize: no repeats on, one draw per week, so the same child cannot win twice in a term
- Shop lucky draw: paste the coupon numbers instead of names

- Keep a screenshot of the result card with the winners’ names before you close the page.
- Turn confetti off in the shell menu if you are recording a quieter clip.

Pick a Winner FAQ
Can Pick a Winner choose several winners?
Yes. Set the number of winners before the draw and they are all picked at once without duplicates, in a numbered result.
How do I prove the draw was fair?
Draw in fullscreen on a screen recording or live stream, and share the entrant list link beforehand. The winner is chosen by the browser’s secure random generator before the animation plays.
Can I import names from Instagram or a spreadsheet?
Copy the names or usernames and paste them, one per line. Commas also work as separators.
Does Pick a Winner avoid repeats?
When "No repeats" is on, each entry is picked at most once until the list is exhausted, then it resets.
Can I pick more than one?
Yes — set how many to pick and all are chosen at once, without duplicates.
Is my list stored anywhere?
Only on your device, in your browser's local storage. Nothing is uploaded.
