What is Daily Mini Crossword?
A small crossword you can finish with your morning tea. Every day the page builds a new themed grid — fruits one day, festivals or the kitchen the next — from a bank of short, plain clues written for families, not cryptic-crossword veterans. Tap a square, type on the keys, tap again to switch between Across and Down; wrong letters show in red if you leave mistake-marking on, and a letter or whole-word hint is always one tap away.
Today’s puzzle is the same for everyone, so you can race a friend on the exact same grid and compare times. Solve it and your streak grows (kept on this device, no account). Want more? Switch to Another theme for unlimited random grids, or print one for the car, the classroom or grandparents who prefer pencil.

How to solve a crossword if you never have
Read every clue once before writing anything; fill the ones you are sure of; then use the letters they give you to attack the crossings. Plural clues end in S, past-tense clues usually end in ED, and a clue with a question mark is playing with words. On this mini grid most answers are three to seven letters, so a single confident word often unlocks a corner.

Daily Mini Crossword FAQ
Is it really a new crossword every day?
Yes. The grid is generated on your device from the day’s theme and a bank of hundreds of clues, so each date gets its own puzzle and everyone who opens it that day sees the same one. Nothing is downloaded and there is no daily limit — Another theme gives you unlimited extra grids.
How hard are the clues?
Deliberately easy: short dictionary-style clues on everyday themes (animals, food, travel, sport, home, festivals). Children from about eight can solve most grids with a little help; adults will finish one in a few minutes.
Can I print it?
Yes — the Print button opens a clean black-and-white page with the empty grid, the numbered clues and space to write, sized to fit A4 or Letter paper.
Is Daily Mini Crossword free?
Yes — 100% free with no account required.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, it is designed for phones first and works on tablets, laptops and TVs.
