What is Color Wheel?
The colour wheel spins through sixteen colours — purple, pink, orange, yellow, green, teal, blue, red, indigo, sky, lime, rose, amber, cyan, brown and black — and lands on one. That is the whole tool, and it is enough for a surprising number of jobs: a nursery teacher asking “find something this colour”, an art class choosing today’s palette, a sports day picking team colours, or anyone staring at a wardrobe at 7 a.m.
Because the wheel is not editable, it is also the fairest colour picker for games where the players would otherwise argue: nobody can tilt the odds by adding three red segments. Fullscreen it on a classroom board and it is readable from the back row.
Games to play with a colour wheel
- Colour hunt (ages 3–6): spin, then everyone races to touch something of that colour in the room — the last one back sits out the next spin
- Draw with one colour: spin, and the next five minutes of the drawing can only use that colour
- Colour-dress challenge: spin on Sunday night for Monday’s outfit colour, no vetoes
- Team colours for sports day: spin once per team so the captains cannot argue over who is red

How to play Color Wheel
- Type or paste your entries in the box beside the wheel — one per line (or use the ready-made list).
- Press SPIN (or hit Space / Enter). The wheel accelerates, slows down naturally and lands on a random segment.
- Read the winner in the result card, then choose Play Again, Remove Winner to spin without it, or Share the result.

How many players?
Color Wheel works with 1+ players and a typical round takes about 15 sec. Recommended age: All ages.
Best occasions
Tips
- Spin twice for a two-colour palette, three times for a flag or a poster.
- Put the wheel in fullscreen on the board; the big result card names the colour for the children who are still learning them.
- For a wheel with your own colours (school house colours, brand colours), use the main Spin the Wheel and type the names.
- Keep entries short so every segment stays readable.
