What is Number Wheel?
A number wheel that spins through a range you choose — 1 to 12 by default, 1 to 10 for dice games, 1 to 20 for a classroom, up to 100 numbers for a raffle (and the range can start anywhere, so 101–200 works too). It is the slower, more dramatic cousin of the random number generator: the whole room watches the pointer slow down, which is exactly what you want for a prize draw, a classroom pick or deciding who goes first.
Teachers use it as a visual random number picker for maths (spin two numbers and add, subtract or multiply), for calling roll numbers without favouritism, and for the “number of the day” routine. Set the range once and the wheel redraws itself.

- Keep the range tight for young children (1–10); big ranges make thin segments that are hard to read.

Number Wheel FAQ
What ranges does the number wheel support?
Any start number from 0 to 999 and up to 100 numbers on the wheel — 1–12 is the default, and 1–10, 1–20, 1–50 and 1–100 are one tap away. The wheel rebuilds with one segment per number.
Can I spin for two numbers at once?
Spin twice — the history under the wheel keeps both results so you can add or multiply them.
Is it the same as a dice roller?
A 1–6 wheel gives the same odds as a die. The Dice Roller shows real dice with pips; the wheel is better for a big-screen reveal.
What is the largest range?
Up to 100 numbers on the wheel. For bigger ranges use the Random Number Generator, which has no upper limit.
Is Number Wheel really random?
Yes. The winning segment is chosen with the browser's cryptographically secure random generator before the animation plays, so the spin cannot be influenced by timing or by how hard you "spin".
How many entries can I add?
Up to 100 entries on one wheel. For large lists the segments get thin, so for 50+ names consider the Random Name Picker instead.
