What is Top Answers Survey Game?

“Name something people do while waiting for a bus.” Two teams take turns guessing the most popular answers to survey-style questions; each answer on the board is worth points, three misses hand the other team a chance to steal, and the board goes to whoever earns it. The host runs the whole thing from one phone — tap an answer when a team says it, tap ✖ for a miss.

Sixty question boards with five or six ranked answers each. A note on honesty: the rankings are written by us, not taken from real polls, so half the fun is arguing that “toothbrush” should have been number one.

All 60 survey questions with the ranked answers

Every board in the game with its answers and points, for a paper version. The rankings are our writers’ best guess of what most people would say — not a poll — so feel free to argue.

Rules of the survey game

Two teams. One player from each team faces off: the host reads the question and the first to buzz gives an answer. If it is on the board, that team chooses to play or pass. The playing team guesses answers one at a time; each correct answer reveals its points. Three wrong guesses (✖) and the other team gets one guess to steal every point on the board. The host runs the board from the phone; scores are kept automatically.
