What is Word Chain?
The screen shows a word, MANGO, and the letter the next word must start with, O. Type OWL, pass the phone, and the chain goes on: LION, NEWT, TIGER… Every word has to be new, has to start with the right letter and has to beat the timer. Miss, repeat or run out of time and you lose a life; the last player with lives wins.
Kids gives 25 seconds and three lives; Hard gives ten seconds, one life and a four-letter minimum. Pick a theme (animals, food, places) and let the group act as the judge — a Challenge button rejects a made-up word.
